Role Description

This is a full-time, permanent role, located in Stanley. We are looking for individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of children and young people; to promote them to develop socially, emotionally, promote independence while offering enjoyment and achieving through all daily aspects. Create a setting where they feel safe and cared for. To act as a positive role model and work closely with the young people to enable them to overcome any barriers and achieve their maximum potential.

As a Senior, you will be required to shift lead; delegate, decision making, ensuring all tasks are undertaken, be a mentor for the staff and report to the Deputy and Registered Manager.

What we would like from you

* NVQ/Diploma 3 with Children and Young People or equivalent.

* 12 months experience working with children.

* Have a UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle.

* Knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding procedures and practices.

* Strong leadership skills

* Effective communication skills

* Thorough and accurate record keeping

* Resilience and confident to support some challenging situations

As a company we support staffs development within. We provide full training required for the role, as well as putting staff through relevant diplomas and other qualifications
