Senior RF Design Engineer - Cambridgeshire (Hybrid) - up to £75,000 + Benefits - Ref 1989

I am currently recruiting for a Senior RF Design Engineer to work for one of the UKs most highly regarded organisations, specifically when it comes to RF (Radio Frequency). Salary up to £75,000 + Benefits.

The organisation has been in operation for over 30 years and given the consistent high quality of work they produce for their clients, they have become the go to company for many. They have a fantastic reputation in the market for excellence, employ some of the best engineers in the industry within their respective disciplines and are renown for being able to solve some of the most complex and challenging engineering problems their clients are faced with. The work is extremely varied and no day, project or product is ever the same.

To support the ongoing growth of the business they now have the need to appoint a Senior RF Design Engineer on a permanent basis who can work from their state-of-the-art offices in Cambridgeshire with the option to work 2 days from home if of interest.

In this role as a Senior RF Design Engineer, you will be responsible for acting as the technical lead on projects. This will involve you architecting the RF systems from scratch as well as overseeing other engineers which could range from 1-8 people depending upon the size and complexity of the project. You will also be expected to support the sales team with bids and proposals from a technical perspective.

Essential requirements:

At least 4 years' experience as an RF Design Engineer or similar Experience architecting and designing RF Systems from scratch Strong understanding of Analogue electronics

Desirable Requirements:

Experience with MM Wave Experience with 5G
