Renfrew based with occasional site deployments required
The Asset Management Team at Altrad Babcock are recruiting a RVI Equipment Technician or Senior Equipment Technician to join us to support the management, maintenance and future development of Remote Operations equipment within Asset Management.

We are looking for a diligent, detail oriented, professional and hardworking individual with excellent IT skills, and ideally with a background in equipment management/storekeeping or EC&I. Good communication/writing and organisational skills are a requirement of the role. Experience in the Nuclear Sector, radiological protection, camera/RVI inspection and PAT testing are an advantage.
The role is based at our Renfrew facility, with occasional site deployment (including some extended outage deployment), and occasional international travel.

Requirements and Qualifications:
· Education/Experience: HNC or higher, or 5+ years as a technician/tradesperson in a technical or mechanical role.
· Technical Skills: Strong IT skills; familiarity with asset management software, advanced Excel or scripting/macro writing desirable. Experience in Equipment Management or EC&I engineering is advantageous.
· Organisational & Problem-Solving: Ability to prioritise, manage multiple workstreams, troubleshoot, and resolve issues creatively.
· Communication: Strong written and verbal skills; capable of compiling and auditing technical documents and reports.
· Health & Safety: Proven commitment to QHSE standards.
· Flexibility: Willingness to travel, work shifts/weekends; full UK driving licence beneficial.
· Additional Qualifications (Preferred): PAT Testing, RPS/HP training, Nuclear security clearance (CTC/SC), IOSH Managing Safely; professional membership encouraged.
· Leadership: Ability to coach and develop junior technicians.
Candidates will be evaluated based on capability and experience and may be offered a role at Technician or Senior Technician level.
