Job Description

Senior Site Manager – New Build Development

A leading developer is looking to appoint a Senior Site Manager to join a major new build scheme in the Camden area. This is a long-term opportunity on a flagship development currently at piling stage, with a programme running through to mid-2028.

The scheme is predominantly student accommodation with a small element of residential, comprising two RC frame blocks and a single basement.

This role will see you take a key position on site, driving delivery from early groundworks through to structural works and beyond, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage groundworks, piling, structural works, and temporary works packages

Drive subcontractor performance, ensuring quality, safety, and programme targets are met

Chair site meetings and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders

Report progress, risks, and key milestones to senior management

Maintain high standards of health & safety and site compliance

Utilise IT systems for reporting, QA, and programme tracking

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager on large-scale residential or mixed-use developments

Strong background in groundworks, piling, structures, and temporary works

Façade experience would be highly advantageous

Ideally a Civil Engineering background

Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

Confident with IT systems and site reporting tools
