Senior Site Manager\n\nLocation: Leeds\n Salary: Up to £65,000 (dependent on experience)\n Type: Permanent / Full time\n Additional: Company car or car allowance\n\nOur client, an industry leading main contractor specialising in industrial, commercial and multi-unit builds, are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead their site team on a live, high-value multi-room project in Leeds. This is a key leadership role, working closely with the Project Manager to plan, coordinate and deliver works safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs Senior Site Manager, you will take full ownership of day-to-day site operations, with a strong focus on Health & Safety, Quality Assurance, planning and coordination of works. You will lead by example on site, manage teams and subcontractors, and ensure the project is delivered in line with programme, design and commercial requirements.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nFull day-to-day management of site activities\nOwnership of Health & Safety on site, promoting a strong safety culture\nOverall responsibility for Quality Assurance and site compliance\nPlanning and coordinating works, logistics and labour\nProducing weekly work plans with the Project Manager\nLeading subcontractors, site teams and contractor meetings\nReporting progress, risks and issues to the Project Manager\nLiaising with M&E, Design and Commercial teams to ensure consistency from design through delivery\nSupporting cost reporting and understanding contractual obligations\nMentoring and developing junior site staff\n\nRequirements\n\nSMSTS, First Aid, CSCS (Management) and Temporary Works Coordinator\nMinimum 5 years' experience as a Senior Site Manager on high-value multi-room projects\nProven team leadership and strong commercial awareness\nAble to provide references from similar projects\nStrong communicator with good IT skills\nProactive, solutions-focused approach\nFlexible to work extended hours when required by the programme\n\nWhat's on Offer\n\nSalary up to £65,000 depending on experience\nA key leadership role on a high-profile project\nOpportunity to work with a collaborative and experienced delivery team\nLong-term career progression \n\nApplications\n\nIf you feel that you have the relevant experience to be successful in this position and would like to find out more, please apply online today, attaching a copy of your current CV.\n\nDue to the vast number of applications that we receive, it is not possible for us to contact all applicants; therefore, only suitable candidates will be contacted.
