Senior Site Manager - Main Contractor Location: West Yorkshire Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum (depending on experience) + car allowance Benefits: Competitive benefits package + excellent career progression opportunities About the Role We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Site Manager to join our team, delivering high-quality construction projects from inception through to completion. This is a key leadership role where you will champion Health & Safety, quality, and best practice, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to project teams and site staff while overseeing projects from construction phase through to completion and client handover. Proactively identify and manage project delays, ensuring dimensional controls are established and utilised from the outset. Maintain accurate daily site records via BIM 360 Field, plan and monitor site logistics, and coordinate staff, labour, and subcontractors. Ensure compliance with Quality Control procedures and Health & Safety standards, alongside liaising with the Design Team to ensure timely release of information. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and local communities.
What We're Looking For We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in a Senior Site Manager role within a main contractor environment, with strong leadership and team management skills. You will have excellent knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and quality standards, along with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver projects to tight deadlines. Experience using digital tools such as BIM 360 Field (or similar) and strong communication and problem-solving abilities are essential. About You You will hold either a construction-related degree or come from a trade background with strong construction management and leadership experience. You will hold a valid CSCS card and be SMSTS qualified, with strong competence in Health & Safety practices and good first aid knowledge.
