Senior Site Manager – Residential Construction\n\nLocation: Cambridge\n Salary:£60-£65k + Benefits Package\n Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent\n\nAbout Us\n\nOur client specialises in delivering high-quality residential developments across Cambridgeshire. With a strong reputation for excellence, safety, and craftsmanship, they're expanding their team and seeking a dedicated Senior Site Manager to lead as number one on an upcoming housing project.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs the Senior Site Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the construction site, ensuring that all work is carried out safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality. You’ll coordinate trades, manage subcontractors, and liaise closely with clients, surveyors, and project managers to ensure successful project delivery.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nOversee all on-site construction activities from start to finish.\n\nManage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site operatives.\n\nEnsure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies.\n\nMonitor project progress and report to senior management.\n\nMaintain accurate site documentation and progress records.\n\nConduct site inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met.\n\nResolve any issues or delays efficiently and effectively.\n\nLead regular site meetings and progress reviews.\n\nAbout You\n\nProven experience as a Senior Site Manager on residential housing developments however can also consider those from a commercial build background.\n\nExcellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.\n\nStrong knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and H&S compliance.\n\nAbility to interpret technical drawings and specifications.\n\nSMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold card), and First Aid certification required.\n\nFull UK driving licence.\n\nTo be considered for this opportunity please apply with your CV or for more information contact Jenny Saban in our Cambridge office
