We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager or Senior Site Manager for a major industrial construction package based near Peterborough, with an immediate start available.

The project includes extensive groundworks, internal fit out, cladding packages, M&E installations, dry lining and associated external and finishing works. This is a substantial scheme running through to 2027, with further projects secured for the right candidate, offering long-term continuity and progression.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing day-to-day site operations

*

Overseeing 40–50 operatives and subcontractors on site

*

Coordinating multiple trades including groundworks, cladding, M&E and fit out

*

Driving health & safety compliance and maintaining high site standards

*

Chairing site meetings and liaising with senior management and subcontractors

*

Monitoring quality control and ensuring works are delivered to programme

*

Managing short-term programming and sequencing of works

Requirements:

*

Proven experience delivering industrial projects

*

Strong background in groundworks, fit out, cladding, M&E and dry lining

*

Experience managing large site teams (40–50 personnel)

*

Excellent leadership and organisational skills

*

Strong communication and reporting ability

*

SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS (Black card preferred)
