Location: Elstree Street Area Rate: £350–£400 per day Hours: 07:00 – 17:00 (10‑hour day, 1‑hour break) Start: 1 Months time Type: Temp to Perm

About the Role

Our client is seeking a Senior Site Manager who genuinely owns the job — someone who takes pride in running a site properly, leads from the front, and is willing to put in the hours to deliver a high‑quality project. This is a long‑term role with the opportunity to go permanent for the right person.

You’ll be overseeing a major build in the Ell Street area, with a strong focus on shed construction and studio builds. Only candidates with proven experience in both will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Lead day‑to‑day site operations and workforce

*

Manage shed and studio build phases from groundwork to completion

*

Coordinate subcontractors, labour, and site logistics

*

Ensure programme, quality, and safety targets are met

*

Conduct inductions, toolbox talks, and H&S checks

*

Liaise with clients, consultants, and project teams

*

Maintain accurate site documentation and progress reports

*

Take full ownership of the site and drive productivity

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager

*

Must have shed build experience

*

Must have studio build experience

*

SMSTS, CSCS (Black/White), First Aid

*

Strong leadership and communication skills

*

Ability to run a site independently and confidently

*

Someone who takes responsibility, leads by example, and puts in the hours needed

*

Reliable, proactive, and committed to delivering a high‑standard project
