Senior Site Manager – £80M Residential Scheme | Camden, London


Our client, a highly respected main contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential developments, is seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead the delivery of a landmark £80 million residential project in Camden.


This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a major scheme from early stages through to completion, working with a collaborative team and a business known for excellence, innovation, and repeat work with leading developers.


The Role


As Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a key leadership role, coordinating subcontractors, driving programme, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead and manage all on-site activities for the project lifecycle
  • Ensure strict adherence to health & safety regulations and company standards
  • Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and suppliers effectively
  • Monitor programme and drive progress to meet key milestones
  • Maintain quality control procedures and ensure high specification delivery
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and senior management teams
  • Mentor and support junior site staff


Requirements


  • Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager on large-scale residential projects (£50M+)
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and health & safety
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Relevant qualifications (SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid; NVQ or degree preferred)
