We are workign with a high end residential construction specialist with a strong reputation for delivering bespoke luxury developments across the South East. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead a prestigious large-scale retrofit project in Ascot.
Project Overview: This is a flagship, high-value residential retrofit involving the complete refurbishment and transformation of an existing luxury property to the highest specification. The project will include complex structural alterations, premium finishes, and the integration of modern building services while preserving key architectural features.
Role Overview: As Senior Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to an exceptional standard of quality. You will be the key on-site lead, coordinating trades, managing subcontractors, and liaising closely with the client and professional team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all on-site activities from inception through to completion
* Lead and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and suppliers
* Ensure strict adherence to health & safety regulations and company policies
* Maintain programme and drive progress to meet key milestones
* Oversee quality control, ensuring high-end finishes meet client expectations
* Liaise with clients, architects, and consultants to resolve technical issues
* Manage site documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements
* Mentor and support junior site staff where applicable
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager on high-end residential projects
* Strong track record delivering large-scale refurbishment/retrofit schemes
* Excellent knowledge of construction processes, sequencing, and detailing
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to manage demanding clients and high-spec expectations
* SMSTS, CSCS (Black Card), and First Aid certified
* Strong focus on quality, safety, and programme delivery
Desirable:
* Experience working on listed buildings or heritage refurbishments
* Background with luxury developers or bespoke contractors
