OverviewWe currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior SOC Analyst to join our existing experienced team.ResponsibilitiesManagement of small-scale team of Analysts to deliver SOC services across multiple projects and/or platformsMonitoring of Systems for Security Alerts, Intrusions or activity considered to be unauthorised, unexpected or illegalReview and develop existing security controls in line with a constantly growing technical environmentContribute into developing an RBAC model in line with an existing IDAM (Identity and Access Management) serviceGenerate recurring service and security reports for key stakeholdersProviding security awareness training to users, stakeholders and visitors including onboarding briefs, security awareness campaigns and supplementary informationAssist in the management of existing certification of technical systems, including ISO:27001 and other governance standardsProvide ongoing support and guidance on security-related issues to usersCollaborate with the Operational Security Manager to develop the SOC as a capability unitKeep up-to-date with the latest security threats and trendsResearch and develop understanding of security as a disciplineShifts throughout 24/7 SOC Service DeliveryQualificationsDegree in Computing, Computer Science, Cyber Security or other related field at grade 2:2 or higher (desired)CISMP, CompTIA Security+ or other technical certifications desiredExperience3+ years experience in SOC, or related technical fieldUnderstanding of the following:SIEMCloud ComputingSecurity Incident ManagementNetworkingInformation SecurityPhishing, Ransomware and other key threatsIDAM (Identity and Access Mgmt)JML (Joiners, Movers and Leavers Processes)ITSM Policies and ProceduresInformation ClassificationTeam Management/DevelopmentAbout SiXworksSiXworks is a leading provider of secure digital solutions, specialising in digital experimentation and focused on fail-safe-fast cutting-edge technology solutions deployed in highly secure environments.
