Who we are Budibase is an open-source workflow platform that helps over 200,000 teams transform their internal processes. What we need We seek 2 Senior Full Stack Software Engineers to join our team and evolve the Budibase platform. In this role, you will work across our entire tech stack, from our infra and backend services to the frontend experiences our users love. You will design, develop, and deploy new product features that will directly impact our users. You will solve complex integration challenges and ensure our systems scale. You will be part of a team capable of shipping a new feature from inception to production in under a week, that delivers real value to users. (This is a remote position; we welcome candidates located within UTC 2 hours with English fluency for optimal collaboration.) Responsibilities Develop our frontend applications (Svelte + TypeScript) Expand our backend services (Node.js + TypeScript) Solve complex integration problems by connecting Budibase to new databases and services Write clean and maintainable TypeScript, continuing to grow the quality of the codebase Work closely with our product team to deliver features that our users will love Collaborate closely with a distributed team of engineers to build exciting features and learn from each other Maintain and expand end-to-end integration and behaviour tests Help maintain existing features, work with the customer success team to fix bugs, and keep our users happy As Budibase is open source, youll work with the community and contribute publicly Requirements 5+ years of professional experience developing modern web applications A minimum of 2+ years working with TypeScript Experience architecting new features, creating new APIs, and developing new integrations. Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, GCP, Azure) Experience in a startup or high-growth environment Capable of having technical discussions at the right level of abstraction The timezone must be located in UTC 2 hours Bonus Experience building AI-powered features, using LLMs, RAG, designing agentic systems Experience working with Terraform and Kubernetes A strong desire to improve developer experience, improve observability, and make other engineers lives easier Experience integrating with Microsoft services, e.g., Entra, 365, Active Directory Why Join Budibase Remote & Flexible Work: Enjoy the freedom of remote work with flexible working hours.
