Job Description

Dottie is currently partnering with a medical and health-care focused product consultancy in Bristol who are intentionally growing their engineering team.

This is a brilliant opportunity to contribute to a ground-up next-gen product which you'll be encouraged to influence from day one.

What you'll be doing:

Own a meaningful portion of the project, focused on designing and implementing embedded subsystems Provide expertise to a long-term project that spans the full development lifecycle Shape the Linux architecture and technical direction of the product early on taking into consideration MCU/UI/connectivity components Lead small packages of work whilst supporting and mentoring more junior members of the team as needed Communicating effectively, clearly and meaningfully with other members of the team and external stakeholders

What you'll need:

Strong experience within embedded Linux platforms Strong C/C++ and scripting experience Experience across safety-critical systems and/or medical devices Good communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders Ideally, an understanding or knowledge of IEC 62443
