Your Role

Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for bridging the gap between Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT)? If so, then this exciting opportunity for an OT/IT Solution Architect might be perfect for you!

In this role you will play a key role in:

• Designing and architect integrated OT solutions, utilizing technologies like Digital Twins, IoT applications, and Industrial Protocols (OPC UA, MQTT)
• Select and configure appropriate Azure or AWS services based on project requirements
• Develop and implement Python scripts and Virtual Machines to automate tasks and optimize processes
• Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments (Engineering, Operations, OT, IT) to understand business needs and ensure technical solutions align with strategic goals
• Stay current with the latest advancements in OT/IT convergence and emerging technologies

Your Profile

• Strong experience performing a solution architecture role within an engineering, OT, manufacturing or telecommunications environment
• Strong knowledge and application of Industry 4.0 technologies such as IoT, analytics, AR/VR, asset tracking solutions, cyber security, digital twins, digital control towers etc.
• Technically leading complex projects throughout their complete lifecycle from requirements capture to handover and knowledge transfer
• Experience of working within a large‑scale organisation, able to work as part of a team, excellent organisational and time‑keeping skills, strong written and verbal skills
• Experience in business transformation projects
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Strong understanding of Industrial Automation and control systems
• Expertise in OT network protocols (Modbus, Profinet, Profibus, OPC UA, MQTT)
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure and AWS
