Senior Sous Chef required for a Hotel and Restaurant in the Lake district. Salary is £38,000 + tips/service of around £2,000 per year year (£40,000 package) . This is a fresh food kitchen, they have a small kitchen garden on site for some of the produce and the other produce comes from the local farms and suppliers. Senior Sous Chef, live in available (£79 per week)
The role: As a Senior Sous Chef you will support the Head Chef in the running of the kitchen and ensure everything runs smoothly. You will help manage the team of over 10 chefs in the kitchen and the KP's, ensuring each section is ready for service and lead the kitchen on the Head Chefs days off. This role covers all the standard duties of a Senior Sous Chef.
Experience: We are looking for a Senior Sous Chef with a fresh food background, hotel experience would be beneficial for this role but isn't essential. We are looking for a chef who has experience in leading a team, supporting a Head Chef and training junior members of the kitchen team.
