Role: Senior Sous Chef
Location: Cheltenham / Cotswolds
Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 + Tronc + Bonus

The Role
As Senior Sous Chef, youll be a key leader in the brigade, working closely with the Head Chef to run a smooth, efficient, and commercially successful kitchen.
Youll be:
Supporting the day-to-day management of a busy, high-volume kitchen
Leading from the front during service, ensuring speed without compromising quality
Producing fresh, high-standard dishes across a varied menu
Managing and motivating your section to deliver consistent excellence
Maintaining exceptional food safety and hygiene standards
Taking control of ordering, stock rotation, and storage
Driving GP, reducing waste, and supporting financial performance
Training and developing junior chefs
Who Were Looking For
Proven experience in a fresh-food, high-volume environment
Strong leadership skills and the confidence to run service
A natural flair for cooking with attention to detail
The ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
Commercial awareness and understanding of margins and waste control
A team-focused mindset with a passion for raising standards
Youll be ambitious, organised, and motivated by delivering quality at scale.
