Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic, passionate Sous / Senior Sous Chef to join our team delivering fine dining to events in London's most famous Royal Palaces, museums, galleries and private homes.

Do you have an eye for detail, a flair for presentation and a passion for working with the finest ingredients? Are you or have you been working at minimum of sous chef level with a London based event caterer? If so we would love to hear from you.

Based in our Camberwell kitchens but working at venues throughout London and the South East, candidates for this role should be London based.

About the role:

To support the Head Chef in delivering all food production for our events

Look after a range of your own events and be an active part of our growing and dynamic kitchen team, ensuring The AC’s reputation for excellence is maintained at all levels.

Support with the produce ordering and management of the wider kitchen team.

Help manage the work load and skills of the kitchen team

The role is based at our offices in Camberwell with work on site at venues across London and the UK.

What we need from you:

2+ years of luxury event catering experience working in heritage venues

5+ years of chef experience

A fantastic foodie chef who can demonstrate 5* and luxury experience

Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills

Knowledge of Food Hygiene and Health and Safety practices, to level 2 standard (training provided if necessary)

Ability to use Microsoft programmes (additional training given if required)

Must be able to pass DBS check

Confidence to manage teams of staff

Ability to maintain healthy relationships with our suppliers and wider team
