This is a senior kitchen leadership position within a busy, customer-focused venue where food quality, consistency, and service standards are key to success. Working closely with senior kitchen leadership and front of house teams, the Senior Sous Chef plays a vital role in day-to-day operations, team development, and delivering a positive guest experience. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys leading from the front while maintaining high standards across every service.
Senior Sous Chef Ideal Profile:
Experienced in a senior kitchen role with strong leadership responsibility
Confident supervising kitchen operations during service
Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health and safety procedures
Able to coach, motivate, and develop kitchen team members
Organised and methodical with a calm approach under pressure
Positive, professional, and passionate about delivering high standards
Senior Sous Chef Responsibilities:
Oversee kitchen operations to ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards are met
Prepare and deliver dishes in line with agreed specifications and senior kitchen direction
Ensure full compliance with food hygiene and health and safety legislation
Support, review, and develop kitchen team performance through coaching and feedback
Maintain excellent communication with front of house and management teams
Uphold a clean, organised, and well-maintained kitchen environment at all times
