Spread over three main buildings and five outpatient centres, it is home to a number of specialist units and teams across a wide range of disciplines including orthopaedic, spinal, digestive diseases, liver, hepatobiliary, renal, cardiothoracic, critical care, cancer and transplant services.The postholder will be the Pharmacy lead for antimicrobial stewardship across the campus, participating in multidisciplinary AMS ward rounds, ensuring follow up of actions and recommendations and reporting data. Working closely with the consultant microbiologists and infection control team they will help to develop a culture that reduces hospital acquired infection (HAIs), supporting  prudent use of antimicrobials, investigating incidents, aiding implementation of any new antimicrobial initiatives and leading on writing and review of antimicrobial policies via Microguide.They will provide a clinical service to our specialist medical wards including  liver, transplant, critical care, oncology, cardiac and gastro wards and support the training of junior pharmacists in these areas.At HCA UK we care about what you care about.
