Come and join Belcan as we are seeking two Stress Engineers to join our team, they will specialise in the structural integrity of rotating components within gas turbines. This role is critical in supporting the design and certification of high-performance rotative aeroengine parts under extreme operating conditions. This is for work on new Gas Turbine technology for future aeroengine platforms. Key Responsibilities Conduct detailed stress analysis (static, fatigue, creep, vibration) on rotatives such as discs, shafts, and blades. Utilize FEA tools (ANSYS, ABAQUS) and classical hand calculations to validate designs. Support lifing assessments and damage tolerance evaluations in compliance with FAR/EASA certification standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in design, materials, and manufacturing to optimize component performance.
