Senior Structural Engineer – London / Global Projects

£60,000 - £70,000 (Negotiable on experience)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Structural Engineer to join a leading international design and engineering practice. This role is ideal for a technically astute and innovative leader with experience delivering large-scale, complex building projects around the world.

The Opportunity:

Our client is a globally recognized, multi-disciplinary design firm with offices across Europe, North America, Asia, the Middle East, and Australia. They are seeking a Structural Engineering Design Leader in their London studio to help shape the future of their global engineering practice.

In this role, you will act as a senior design voice, leading structural engineering solutions for ambitious, technically complex projects. You will drive innovation, ensure structural excellence, and mentor the next of engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead structural design, analysis, and coordination for large-scale, technically complex projects.

Champion projects from concept through to completion, ensuring constructability, performance, and exceptional quality.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and colleagues.

Collaborate with architects, clients, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate innovative structural solutions.

Contribute to design narratives and promote engineering excellence across global teams.

Candidate Profile:

10+ years’ experience leading complex building projects internationally.

Chartered with IStructE () or ICE.

Strong technical expertise in structural systems, software, and international building codes.

Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire interdisciplinary teams.

Passionate about innovative, efficient, and sustainable design.

Excellent communication skills, able to articulate design concepts to a variety of audiences.
