Senior Structural Engineer Job Requirements

• To use a range of software to develop detailed structural designs as well as hand calculations.
• Undertaking of technical and feasibility studies including organising site investigations.
• Manage and oversee a variety of projects from feasibility through to completion, including site inspections and reporting.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and design professionals to ensure successful projects
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g. CDM 2015, planning approvals, listed buildings)
• Monitor budgets, resources, and contractor performance to meet project deadlines and standards.
• Support business development by promoting the consultancy's services and maintaining strong client relationships.

Senior Structural Engineer Salary & Benefits

• Structural Engineering MEng or equivalent.
• Solid experience in a consultancy setting, with a broad understanding of engineering, surveying, architecture, and planning practices.
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, technical guidance, and current legislation.
