Responsibilities and duties of the Senior Structural Engineer role

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will:

Lead structural design activities and take ownership of engineering packages from concept through to delivery Perform and check detailed hand calculations Produce and review engineering drawings Lead and mentor a small team (typically a technician and/or junior engineer) Liaise directly with clients and key stakeholders Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, regulations, and security requirements Work independently on assigned project deliverables
