Our client, a leading organisation in power and energy solutions, is seeking a talented Senior Substation Secondary (P&C) Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile projects, supporting clients like National Grid and SSEN across the UK and internationally.
What you'll be doing: * Lead technical delivery of protection and control (P&C) design packages for substation projects, from Front End Engineering Design (FEED) to Detailed Design. * Provide technical guidance on protection schemes, relay settings, coordination, and substation automation. * Ensure quality assurance and governance of all design outputs, including SLDs, wiring diagrams, I/O schedules, and control room layouts. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, suppliers, and contractors, building strong relationships and understanding client needs. * Manage tender packages, respond to technical queries, and produce high-quality technical offers. * Attend and chair design and hazard review meetings, site visits, and support project delivery across transmission and distribution networks. * Support capability development and training within your team, fostering a collaborative en...
