The Supply Chain Planner will play a crucial role in managing the customer supply chain interface, ensuring a seamless flow of finished products and raw materials. Key Responsibilities of Supply Chain Planner: Building Relationships: Foster strong connections with suppliers and customers to facilitate open communication and effective supply chain management. Forecasting: Collaborate with the commercial team to maintain accurate forecasts for finished goods and raw materials, driving replenishment and MRP processes. Stock Management: Report precise stock positions to keep the business informed about shelf life, stock rotation, obsolete items, excess, and slow-moving stock. Purchase Orders: Create purchase orders for reordering products from suppliers, considering lead times and forecast requirements to achieve target stock levels. Negotiation: Negotiate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of purchase orders in line with expectations. Production Planning: Develop plans to convert raw materials into finished products through our UK factory operations, maintaining agreed stock levels. Ideal Senior Supply Chain Planner: You will have experience in a similar environment, with extensive customer service and customer-facing experience.
