We are looking for acompassionate and enthusiastic Senior Support Worker to join our friendly team at Lord Alexander House, a supported living service in the heart of Hemel Hempstead.
This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week), where you will be supporting individuals living with mental health needs, to live independently in their own purpose-built flats.
About you:
We are looking for someone with experience in the care or support sector, specifically in supporting people living with mental health illnesses.
You will also need to:
Demonstrate a trauma-informed approach in all aspects of service delivery, ensuring sensitivity to the impact of trauma on individuals and promoting safety, empowerment, and collaborative care. Provide operational oversight including rota management, ensuring adequate staffing levels and continuity of care across the scheme. Communicate effectively and adapt to different needs and preferences Possess strong IT skills Work well as part of a team and independently Be committed to equality, diversity, and person-centred care Be flexible and reliable, able to work shifts including weekends and bank holidays (this role also includes one shift per week of completing a sleep in - an allowance for £52.78 per sleep in is paid).It is essential that hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have access to a car.
