A leading multidisciplinary real estate consultancy is seeking to appoint a Senior Surveyor to join its Asset and Property Management team in Central London. This role offers an excellent platform for a Property Management Surveyor looking to develop a clear and structured pathway into Asset Management, while retaining responsibility for core property management and team leadership.


The position reports directly to the Divisional Director and involves line management of both FM and junior surveying staff. The portfolio spans offices, industrial estates, business parks and retail assets, with direct exposure to institutional and high net worth clients.


The role is structured approximately fifty percent asset management and fifty percent property management, providing balanced exposure to both disciplines and genuine scope to broaden asset management capability.


Role overview

  • Lead on asset management initiatives including value add strategies, tenant relocation planning, void management and income enhancement
  • Deliver landlord and tenant instructions including rent reviews, lease renewals, regears and break strategies
  • Provide day to day oversight of property management delivery and service charge performance
  • Manage and develop a small team including FM and junior surveyors
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering proactive and commercially focused advice
  • Monitor and manage budgets, service charge accounts and supplier performance
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety and statutory obligations across the portfolio
  • Work closely with internal specialists across lease advisory, valuation and building consultancy


Candidate profile

  • Ideally MRICS qualified or working towards qualification (but not essential)
  • Minimum two years commercial property management experience
  • Strong understanding of commercial landlord and tenant matters
  • Demonstrable experience contributing to asset management or value add strategies
  • Commercially minded with the ability to build trust with clients and colleagues
  • Comfortable managing people, budgets and third party suppliers
