Senior Syndicate AccountantAbout the RoleJoin a global insurance group in a newly created role as Senior Syndicate Accountant. Drive accurate syndicate and regulatory reporting for their Lloyd's syndicate, partnering across underwriting, claims, and finance teams to deliver process improvements and tight controls.Key ResponsibilitiesLead general ledger close for Syndicate and related entities (US GAAP and UK GAAP reporting)Maintain controls and reconciliations across technical accounts and balance sheet itemsSupport interface implementation and collaborate on system improvementsPartner with Finance teams on analysis, planning, and regulatory reportingLiaise with auditors and support audit processesRequirementsAccounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or working towardsDeep Lloyd's market knowledge, Lloyd's/FCA/PRA reporting experience. (including Xchanging, LCA processes)Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skillsSelf-motivated team player comfortable working independently and mentoring more junior staffWhat's On OfferImpactful role with a global risk management leader.
