Salary: £45,000 – £60,000, depending on your skills and experience.
\n\nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\n
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping innovative solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
\n
\n
Understanding our customers’ complex needs and collaborating to develop, validate, and manage requirements at multiple levels.
\n
Creating intricate system architectures and sub-systems using a Model Based Systems Engineering approach.
\n
Integrating, analyzing, and testing real-time systems that encompass various technical disciplines, including electronics, mechanics, optics, and software.
\n
Taking accountability for collaborative technical work package execution and associated outcomes.
\n
Providing guidance, coaching, and nurturing talent in fellow engineers.
\n
Ensuring customer needs are met and exceeded.
\n
Driving new and improved systems development through implementation, utilizing best practices in systems lifecycle processes, along with techniques like Learn First and Agile.
\n
\n\nYour Skills and Experiences:\n
Essential:
\n
\n
Proven experience in developing systems in relevant product markets, such as control systems or safety-related systems, across multiple technical disciplines.
\n
Experience in requirements management, design analyses, modeling, and simulation using tools like DOORS, Siemens Polarion, Enterprise Architect, MATLAB, and/or Simulink.
\n
A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant Scientific/Engineering subject (e.g., Systems Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics).
\n
\n\n
Desirable:
\n
\n
Experience in integration, testing, and verification of real-time and/or safety-related systems, with an understanding of safety assessment processes.
\n
Customer and/or supplier liaison experience for technical aspects, ensuring customer needs are satisfied.
\n
An understanding of information assurance, cyber security, and environmental impact aspects related to real-time embedded engineering products.
