Our goal is to foster a workplace where diverse talents thrive.About the Role:Our Pensions Advisory business continues to grow and we are now looking for qualified actuaries to join our GMP Equalisation Team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys the technical aspects of actuarial work and has extensive experience in defined benefit pensions.Key Responsibilities:Work with and interpret member data to support GMP equalisation projects.Review and sign off complex actuarial calculations and written advice.Communicate results and collaborate with client teams throughout project delivery.Deliver advice to clients in meetings, where desired.Liaise regularly with the GMP team, client teams, and other departments.Contribute to specialist research and development initiatives.Train and mentor junior colleagues in actuarial concepts and project work.Support the development of innovative solutions to complex actuarial problems.Your ProfileEssentialExtensive experience in the DB pensions industry in an actuarial role.Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.DesirableKeen interest in actuarial concepts and the wider pensions and financial landscape.Inquisitive mindset and eagerness to learn.Highly motivated and driven to succeed.Strong problem-solving skills and solution-oriented thinking.Outstanding accuracy and attention to detail.Adaptable and collaborative team player.Qualifications:Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (FIA) or equivalent.What We Offer:Enjoy a competitive salary, annual discretionary bonus, and 25 days' holiday with buy/sell flexibility.
