This role leads delivery across a portfolio of AI, innovation and automation initiatives within a regulated financial environment. You will combine technical understanding with strong programme and project management expertise, overseeing budgets, forecasting, governance and stakeholder engagement while ensuring complex AI and automation projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of AI and automation projects
• Manage a portfolio of innovation initiatives aligned to strategic goals
• Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and forecasts
• Oversee RAID management and governance processes
• Collaborate with technical teams across infrastructure, applications and DevOps
• Ensure compliance with internal approvals and regulatory controls
• Provide regular reporting and dashboards to senior stakeholders
• Identify and mitigate delivery risks and issues
• Mentor junior team members and drive continuous improvement

Profile

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years experience in project or delivery management within financial services
• Strong technical background with experience across infrastructure and applications
• Experience delivering SaaS and cloud migration programmes
• Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD and automation environments
• Proven experience managing budgets, forecasting and financial tracking
• Experience overseeing multiple concurrent projects
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Project, JIRA, Confluence and reporting tools
• PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM or similar certification advantageous

Job Offer

• Competitive daily rate between GBP 850 and GBP 900 a day inside IR35
