More about this role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Technical Product Manager to lead the evolution of FairPlay Technologies’ Global CMS Platform, a critical infrastructure enabling content configuration and management across our entire digital portfolio.
This isn’t a typical product role. It demands a higher level of strategic ownership, deep technical expertise, and the ability to lead complex platform integrations at scale. As a core member of our fast-growing data organization, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of how content powers FairPlay Sports Media across multiple brands, domains, and distribution channels (web, app, white-label).
Looking ahead, the roadmap includes advanced capabilities, accelerated delivery timelines, and greater cross-functional collaboration. This requires a product leader who is not only technically fluent but also confident in driving initiatives that cut across engineering, content, marketing, and analytics.
You will be responsible for:
- Requirements & Architecture: Translate internal needs into clear, prioritized requirements and a forward-looking platform architecture that supports speed, scalability, and ease of use for editorial teams.
- Complex Integration Leadership: Oversee scalable integrations across a diverse tech stack and stakeholder base, ensuring seamless platform interoperability and long-term maintainability.
- Data-Driven Optimization: Define and monitor KPIs—such as adoption, content velocity, and operational efficiency—to measure success and inform iteration.
- Technical Collaboration: Serve as the bridge between product vision and engineering execution, ensuring solutions are built with technical rigor and delivered on time.
You will be accountable for:
- Strategic Product Ownership: Define and lead the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for the Global CMS Platform—aligned to company goals and evolving business needs.
You will be supporting:
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with stakeholders across product, engineering, marketing, and analytics to ensure platform objectives are aligned and dependencies are proactively managed.
Your Skillset:
- 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably leading CMS or platform products at a global scale.
- Demonstrated success owning high-impact platforms with complex integrations and long-term roadmaps.
- Strong working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery.
- Hands-on experience with API integrations and platform interoperability.
- Proficient in Contentful CMS Platform
- Strong understanding of content modeling, template development, and digital publishing workflows.
- Proven ability to align and lead cross-functional teams, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable operating in Agile environments with fast iteration cycles and evolving priorities.
- Ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable product decisions.
What you’ll get back from us:
Alongside being challenged daily and a real interest in your development, you will also receive:
- Subsidized Sky HD package, broadband and discounted sky talk
- Free Puregym membership
- Free healthcare with Bupa, life assurance and income protection
- Pension scheme with up to 9% contribution from the company
- £1,000 training fund each financial year, to spend on your professional development
- Unlimited holiday plan
Research shows that women and ethnic minorities are less likely to apply if they don’t meet every qualification. If you’re passionate about our purpose, determined to face challenges, and eager to learn, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick every box. We’re committed to building a diverse, inclusive team and ensuring an accessible recruitment process. If you need any accommodations, please let us know.
