Senior Technical Project Manager - AV - Live Events
London (Hybrid)
£55,000 – £65,000

This is not your standard technical role. This is about owning the full lifecycle of ambitious, large-scale events, blending technical precision with creative ambition, and playing a key role in shaping how cutting-edge experiences are brought to life.
They’re now looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager to join their London team, someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, leads from the front, and brings deep technical expertise to elevate every project they touch.
The Opportunity
This is a senior, high-impact role sitting at the heart of production delivery.
You’ll take ownership of multiple complex projects, from concept through to execution, ensuring everything is delivered on time, on budget, and to an exceptional standard.
You’ll also play a pivotal role in strengthening and evolving the agency’s AV capabilities, influencing everything from system design to innovation and future investment.
What You’ll Be Doing
End-to-End Project Leadership
Leading technical delivery across a portfolio of live events and experiences
Owning planning, budgeting, quoting, and execution
Acting as the key technical voice across internal teams and client stakeholders
Technical Excellence
Designing and implementing robust AV solutions
Elevating standards, processes, and equipment strategy
Driving innovation across technical delivery
On-Site Leadership
Leading from the front during live event delivery
Managing teams, troubleshooting challenges, and ensuring seamless execution
Acting as the senior escalation point on-site
Team Leadership & Development
Mentoring and supporting junior team members
Building capability and fostering a high-performance technical culture
Risk & Compliance
Owning H&S processes, RAMS, and best practice on-site
Proactively identifying risks and implementing solutions
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in technical project management within live events
Strong working knowledge of end-to-end event production
Deep expertise in AV systems, design, and delivery
Confidence managing multiple projects simultaneously
A strong knowledge of UVL’s and London events venues would be a distinct advantage
A calm, solutions-focused mindset under pressure
Strong communication skills across clients, suppliers, and internal teams
Solid understanding of health & safety and compliance
