Senior Technical Services Manager

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are now seeking a Senior Technical Services Manager to lead the MEP design and delivery on prestigious fit out's in the heart of London. As the Senior Technical Services Manager, you will take the lead on all building services on each project from pre-construction through to practical completion, with a team of MEP managers to support you.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the full MEP strategy, managing design development, installation, commissioning, and quality assurance
  • Serve as the key MEP liaison with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders
  • Chair coordination workshops to ensure technical compliance and integration across disciplines
  • Review and approve technical submissions, shop drawings, and O&M manuals
  • Drive the MEP programme, working closely with planning teams to meet critical milestones
  • Support procurement through technical assessments, tender analysis, and contractor selection
  • Oversee commissioning and testing phases, including seasonal commissioning and handover protocols
  • Manage change control processes and respond to technical RFIs
  • Mentor and support technical services engineers and site supervisors


Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 5 years of MEP project delivery experience, ideally with a main contractor
  • Proven experience delivering commercial refurbishments or high-spec fit outs in constrained environments
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC, electrical, public health, and BMS systems
  • Strong understanding of MEP coordination
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven leadership across pre-construction, commissioning, and handover phases


Desirable (but not essential):

  • Membership of CIBSE, IET, or Chartered/Incorporated Engineer status
  • SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, or First Aid Certification
  • Experience with BIM and digital tools such as Revit, Navisworks, Asta, or MS Project
  • Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (ideal)
