Are you ready to architect the future of resilience?

This is not a traditional disaster recovery role. We are on a major transformation journey, moving beyond legacy DR to build a proactive, modern, and truly resilient technology ecosystem. We are looking for a forward-thinking architect and designer to help us answer the critical question: "How do we design and validate our systems to ensure our most critical business services can survive a major disruption?"

What You’ll Do:

Design for End-to-End Resilience: Architect for the resilience of entire business services across a complex hybrid landscape of On-Premise, Cloud (IaaS), and SaaS platforms.

Champion Modern Principles: Develop and implement high-quality, modern resilience design principles, with a strong focus on Zero-Trust Networking and how to apply it effectively.

Validate and Prove Resilience: Evolve our testing capabilities beyond traditional DR drills, exploring and implementing advanced techniques like Chaos Testing, Simulation Testing, and Digital Twins.

Drive Automation: Be a key driver in moving towards automated validation, defining how to measure the success of resilience tests and providing data-driven assurance.

Consult and Influence: Work closely with engineering teams, business stakeholders, and other architects to translate complex resilience principles into actionable designs and build a culture of resilience by design.

What You’ll Bring:

An Architect’s Mindset: You think in terms of systems, patterns, and principles. You may be a Lead Engineer looking to move into architecture or a seasoned architect with a passion for resilience.

A Modern Engineer’s Toolkit: You have a strong grasp of the DevOps and DevSecOps landscape and an automation-first thought process.

A Broad Technical Foundation: You have a strong, broad understanding of on-premise infrastructure (storage, backup, networks), cloud platforms, and the unique risks and implications of SaaS resilience.

A Passion for Modern Testing: You are excited by the challenge of proving resilience and are familiar with modern validation techniques like chaos engineering.

An Excellent Communicator: You can effectively communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and are not afraid to challenge the status quo.
