Senior Test & Development Engineer West Yorkshire Are you a technically skilled engineer with a passion for designing, testing, and developing high-integrity mechanical systems? We are seeking a Senior Test & Development Engineer to join an engineering team delivering gearbox design projects and associated product engineering activities. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex mechanical systems, supporting both product development and operational delivery. You'll work closely with the Engineering team, under the direction of the Head of Test & Development Engineering, to ensure that all test and validation activities meet internal, client, and certification standards. This is a hands-on role, covering the full lifecycle of test planning, execution, and analysis. Key Responsibilities: Define and specify product validation and performance test requirements. Create product validation and performance test plans, specifications, and acceptance criteria. Specify test equipment and instrumentation; oversee data capture, processing, and analysis. Supervise test rig setup and commissioning, including guarding and lubrication/cooling systems. Conduct in-situ shaft line and coupling balance assessments, noise, and vibration measurements.
