About the Company
Drawing on our unparalleled knowledge of planning law, precedents and authorities, we help our clients find the necessary permissions for their exciting ventures in the Tourism & Leisure, Residential, Commercial, Agricultural, Country Estate and Strategic Land development sectors. We are looking for highly motivated, savvy and intellectually-curious senior and associate level planners to join our growing organisation.
About the Role
We partner with each of our clients to devise a robust strategy for delivering their development project, however complex - our process is one of politics, pragmatism and ingenuity. If this sounds like your way of working, we want to meet you! We are building our team to meet the needs of our existing and expanding client base located throughout the UK. You can expect to be a self-starter from day one, so should have 3 to 5+ years’ planning experience gained within public or private organisations.
Responsibilities
- You will be able to manage projects from initial conception through to successful conclusion.
- Securing and negotiating planning consents.
- Engaging directly with clients.
- Should already hold MRTPI status.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5+ years’ planning experience gained within public or private organisations.
- Must hold MRTPI status.
Required Skills
- Able to help build on our years of established successes.
- Getting the job done efficiently.
- Having a great understanding of our sectors whilst still having an eye for missed opportunities.
- Can bring creative solutions to some of our more challenging projects.
- You’ll enjoy delving deep into case law, understanding how to use legal precedent and able to seek and deliver the unexpected solution.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the Tourism & Leisure, Residential, Commercial, Agricultural, Country Estate and Strategic Land development sectors.
