Senior Town Planner\n Location: London\n\nPenguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well established and growing planning consultancy in their search for a Senior Town Planner to join their London office.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Town Planner to take on a key role within a collaborative and ambitious team, working on a diverse portfolio of projects across the residential, commercial, mixed use and strategic development sectors.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs a Senior Town Planner, you will be responsible for managing planning projects from inception through to determination, providing high quality planning advice to clients and supporting the wider planning team.\n\nKey responsibilities will include:\n\nManaging and delivering planning applications and appeals of varying scale and complexity\n\nPreparing planning statements, appeals, site appraisals and policy representations\n\nLiaising with local planning authorities, consultees and key stakeholders\n\nProviding strategic planning advice to clients throughout the development process\n\nMentoring and supporting junior planners\n\nAssisting with business development and maintaining strong client relationships\n\nAbout You\n\nTo be successful in this Senior Town Planner role, you will ideally have:\n\nA degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or a related discipline\n\nMRTPI status (or working towards)\n\nProven experience within a planning consultancy or local authority\n\nStrong knowledge of the UK planning system\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\n\nA proactive and commercially aware approach\n\nWhy Apply?\n\nThis Senior Town Planner position offers excellent career progression, exposure to high quality planning work, and the chance to join a supportive and forward thinking consultancy based in London.\n\nIf you are interested in this Senior Town Planner role, please contact Joel Bland at Penguin Recruitment for more information
