Senior / Associate Planner - Scotland (Glasgow / Edinburgh) Location: Glasgow or Edinburgh (hybrid working available) Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience The Role An established and highly regarded planning and development consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior / Associate Planner to join its growing Scottish team. Based in either Glasgow or Edinburgh, this role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of complex and high-profile development projects across Scotland. The successful Senior / Associate Planner will play a key role in providing strategic planning advice, managing planning applications, and supporting the continued growth of the business in the Scottish market. Key Responsibilities ·Lead and manage planning applications, appeals and development strategies ·Provide clear, commercially focused planning advice to clients ·Interpret and apply Scottish planning policy and legislation ·Liaise and negotiate with local planning authorities and key stakeholders ·Mentor and support junior members of the planning team ·Contribute to client relationship management and business development activities Candidate Requirements ·Proven experience in a planning consultancy environment ·Strong knowledge of the Scottish planning system and policy framework ·Excellent written and verbal communication skills ·Ability to manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively ·RTPI membership (MRTPI or LRTPI) or working towards accreditation ·Experience operating at Senior Planner or Associate level What's on Offer ·Opportunity to work on major and strategic development projects across Scotland ·Hybrid working with offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh ·Supportive and collaborative consultancy environment ·Competitive salary and benefits package ·Clear opportunities for career progression If you are interested and feel you could be a good fit, pop your CV across to (url removed) or call (phone number removed)
