This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and commercially aware Senior Town Planner to join a nationally respected consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering planning excellence across residential, commercial, mixed-use, and regeneration schemes. You'll join a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team and play a vital role in supporting and leading projects, managing client relationships, and helping shape the built environment in one of the most exciting parts of the UK.
Responsibilities of the Senior Town Planner:

Lead the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals *
Conduct site appraisals, policy research and feasibility assessments *
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, local authorities and stakeholders *
Assist with and contribute to business development and new opportunities *
Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to team knowledge sharing *
Represent the team at meetings, consultations and planning committees
What we're looking for:

MRTPI qualified or actively working towards *
A minimum of 3 years' professional planning experience, ideally in consultancy or private sector *
Strong knowledge of the UK planning system and current policy landscape *
Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills *
Commercial awareness and a client-first mindset *
Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and time management *
A collaborative team player with a proactive approach
