Job DescriptionSenior Transport Planner£40,000 – £48,000BristolAn established and growing transport planning consultancy is looking for a Senior Transport Planner to join their Bristol-based team. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in development planning and is ready to take the next step in their career.You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality transport planning projects, working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams. The Role
Manage and deliver transport planning projects, including day-to-day coordination of clients and project teams Carry out transportation and traffic engineering analysis, including traffic modelling and data interrogation Prepare Transport Assessments, Statements, and Travel Plans in line with standards and best practice Contribute to planning-stage highway design solutions for development proposals Produce clear technical reports, presentations, and supporting documentation Work collaboratively with planners, engineers, and other design disciplines
What we’re looking for
Degree in a transport, engineering, geography, mathematics, or related numeric discipline Proven experience in development-related transport planning, ideally within a UK consultancy environment Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Commercial awareness and confidence in providing professional advice to clients Experience with TRICS, Junctions 10, and LinSig
