The Role:
This role is a 14 month FTC
The Senior Wealth Planning Analystwill aid the Operations Manager in supporting the Wealth Planning Team.
The Senior Wealth Planning Analyst will assist with Wealth Planning business and operational improvements, carrying out work required for projects and delivery of management information, liaising with other areas of the business such as Compliance and Investment Management Client Services where required.
The Senior Wealth Planning Analystwill identify opportunities for, and provide input into, business and operation improvement strategies for the Wealth Planning Team supporting excellent service and good client outcomes. Assist the Operations Manager in implementing these improvements.
The Senior Wealth Planning Analyst will assist with completion of specific projects identified by the Wealth Planning committees and senior leadership team.
The Senior Wealth Planning Analystwill assist the Operations Manager with business issues that arise for the Wealth Planning Team, liaising with other individuals and departments where required, and alsoensure full day-to-day support for the Wealth Planning team to support excellent levels of service and good client outcomes.
The Senior Wealth Planning Analystwill undertake technical or any other relevant training as and when required. Contribute to efficiency improvement initiatives and sharing of best practice.
The Senior Wealth Planning Analystwill be proactive in developing knowledge of the industry and the market. Undertake and record relevant Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to develop knowledge and skills.
The Candidate
3-5 years Financial Planning Support experience, either in wealth planning operations, paraplanning, financial planning business support / practice manager.
Strong level of knowledge of financial planning products (ideally through formal Financial Planning qualifications and relevant working experience)
Diploma in Financial Planning - highly desirable but not essential
Understand the key characteristics, risk and features of investment products available through the firm, including any general tax implications and costs to be incurred by the client in the context of transactions.
Comfortable with data and presentation Excel or Power BI
Good level of IT skills and knowledge of primary systemsXPlanand Avaloq - useful
Good Microsoft Office skills
Familiarity with Power BI an advantage
