Job Description
My architecture client who do a lot of work with house developers on projects ranging from 10-100 units, are looking for a Senior/Associate Architect to join them on a permenant basis. The Senior Architect supports the planning, design, and execution of architectural projects from concept through construction. This role collaborates with senior architects, engineers, consultants, and clients to develop design solutions, produce high-quality drawings and models, and ensure compliance with building codes, standards, and project requirements.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nProject Coordination\n\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including structural, MEP, and civil engineers.\n\nParticipate in internal and client meetings, presenting design updates and technical information.\n\nAssist with coordinating consultants, reviewing their drawings for consistency and alignment with project intent.\n\nSupport project managers with schedules, documentation, permits, and RFIs.\n\nConstruction Support\n\nAssist in preparing specifications and material selections.\n\nSupport site visits, field verification, and construction administration tasks.\n\nReview submittals and shop drawings under the guidance of senior staff.\n\nQuality & Process\n\nEnsure drawings and models meet firm standards and industry best practices.\n\nContribute to design development, research, and innovation within the team.\n\nMaintain organized project files and documentation.\n\nSupporting the wider team on projects, eventually buisling out your own team beneath you\n\nWinning new projects \n\nQualifications\n\nEducation & Credentials\n\nBachelor 's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.\n\nKnowledge of building codes, ADA requirements, and industry standards.\n\nTechnical Skills\n\nProficiency in Revit is typically required.\nStrong understanding of construction documentation and building systems.\nExperience in winning projects\nExperience managing a small team\nExperience in working with house developers is a bonus \n\nProfessional Skills\n\nStrong design sensibility and attention to detail.\n\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills.\n\nAbility to manage time, meet deadlines, and work on multiple projects simultaneously.\n\nCollaborative mindset and willingness to learn from senior team members
