Sensory Integration Occupational Therapist (Band 5/6 Equivalent)
We are seeking a dedicated Sensory Integration Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality assessments and therapy to children and their families, primarily remotely, with potential in-home and school-based sessions under supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver effective sensory integration assessments and therapies, ensuring clear, succinct reports to guide interventions.
- Develop skills to deliver SI parent consultations in the future.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and professional networks, often in challenging circumstances.
- Provide consultation and training to professionals working with children and families.
- Communicate effectively within the multidisciplinary team to promote child safety and risk management.
- Contribute to the development of new service areas, such as consultations to residential homes and training for schools.
- Work within the social enterprise framework, ensuring high-quality work that meets productivity targets.
- Promote and advocate for the service, ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
- Participate in staff development, supervision, team meetings, and other relevant activities.
- Work flexibly, including occasional unsocial hours, to meet service needs.
- Undertake additional duties aligned with the role's scope and purpose.
