We are seeking a qualified Service Advisor on behalf of a reputable automotive dealership group. This Service Advisor position presents an excellent opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals looking to progress within a stable and professional environment.

The successful Service Advisor will be integral to delivering high standards of customer service and supporting the workshop team efficiently.

Benefits:

Basic salary up to £34,000, with an OTE of approximately £39,000 including bonuses and profit sharing
Monday to Friday working hours, 08:30 – 17:30, with Saturdays on a rota (1 in 2), mornings only

Opportunities for career advancement within a group operating over 10 sites and multiple brandsDuties:

Managing service, repair, and maintenance bookings via telephone, face-to-face, and email
Processing bookings using Kerridge (or similar) IT systems accurately and efficiently
Liaising with workshop teams to ensure all aspects of the job are scheduled correctly
Keeping customers updated throughout the repair process and upselling additional work or products where appropriate
Handling all related administrative tasks such as invoicing, vehicle handovers, and payments
Ensuring customer satisfaction standards are consistently met or exceeded
Promoting service plans, warranties, and approved vehicle products
Maintaining detailed records and ensuring compliance with manufacturer standardsRequirements:

Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing position within the automotive industry
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with customers and workshop staff
Organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
Quick learner with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
PC/language skills; Kerridge/ADP experience is preferred
Full clean driving licence
