Insight Global is looking for a hands-on Service and Installation Engineer to join a permanent team supporting Hold Baggage Screening (HBS) systems at Heathrow Airport, working onsite five days a week as part of a 40-hour working week.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for installing and commissioning HBS systems, carrying out upgrades, retrofits and removals in line with engineering changes, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, and performing preventative and corrective maintenance. You’ll assess system performance, recommend improvements, and act as a trusted technical expert by providing support and training to customers and service teams, while building strong working relationships through clear communication.

You’ll also take ownership of planning and prioritising your daily workload, meeting installation and service deadlines, maintaining and calibrating tools and test equipment, and producing accurate, timely documentation and service reports. Must Haves:

• Technical degree (e.g., electrical, mechanical, or related field) or equivalent experience
• Experience in troubleshooting, repair, and field service.
• Strong electronic and mechanical troubleshooting skills; quick to learn new technology.
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and passport for international travel.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Airport ID Badge and necessary security clearances, including public trust clearance.
• Must be able to work variable hours and perform manual handling tasks.
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance

• Experience troubleshooting/repairing any of the following - ATM machines, Slot machines, CAT scan / MRI / X-ray machines, Red Box or similar automated kiosks, and Aviation-related equipment
