Service Engineer - Injection Moulding Machines

Monday to Friday working with UK and Overseas Travel

£40k - £46k Neg - DOEDue to continued team expansion, we are supporting our client in the search for an experienced Service Engineer with a background in servicing Injection Moulding Machines. Our client supplies both new and refurbished Injection Moulding Machines, along with a full range of associated ancillary equipment and parts. The successful candidate will join the engineering team and be responsible for in-house refurbishment, as well as on-site installation, commissioning, and servicing at customer locations. The role requires regular travel throughout the UK and Ireland, with occasional overseas travel, including visits to China.

Day-to-day duties will include:

Working across the UK and Ireland commissioning and servicing new and refurbished Injection Moulding Machines.
Carrying out fault finding, diagnosis, and repair of machinery
Commissioning of Injection Moulding Machines and beam robots (full robot training will be provided)
Performing in-house refurbishment of used Injection Moulding Machines
Providing technical support to customers as required, both on-site and remotely

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will have the following skills and experience

Be a UK resident within a commutable distance of Wellingborough with right to work documentation in place as sponsorship is not offered for this role
Have a solid understanding of Injection Moulding or Blow Moulding Machines.
Have carried out service, repair and commissioning on Injection or Blow Moulding Machines - (3 to 4 years experience as a minimum due to required levels of understanding)
Have a general engineering qualification either NVQ or City & Guilds
Strong fault finding mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
Be willing to travel within the UK and to Ireland and China
Have a professional and customer focused approach.
