Service Engineer

We’re hiring for a Service Engineer to join a well-established business based in Stockport.
This is a practical, hands-on role split between on-site work and workshop repairs, ideal for someone who enjoys fault-finding, mechanical work, and variety in their day.
What’s on offer?
* £28k - £32k p/a
* Mon – Fri | 8:30am – 5pm
* 20 days holiday (plus bank holidays)
* Overtime available (paid at an enhanced rate)
* Christmas bonus
* Christmas shutdown period
* Company vehicle (work use only)
What will you be doing as a Service Engineer?
* Servicing and repairing scrubber dryers, extraction carpet machines, rotatory floor machine and vacuum cleaners
* Mixture of on site and workshop based work
* Working on motors pumps, switches, axels and gearboxes
* Carrying out occasional PAT testing
* Fitting soap and hand sanitiser dispensers
* Assisting in the warehouse (occasionally)
* Carrying out works across greater Manchester and occasionally around the midlands
What we’re looking for
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Previous experience with cleaning machines
* UK driving licence
