Discover why this matters in our newest video HEREThe OpportunityDue to maternity leave, we are seeking to recruit a Service Manager for our Patey Court service in Portsmouth on a fixed-term basis (approx. 9 months). In this role, you will work alongside a dedicated Area Manager and Regional Director to lead a purpose-built supported living service. The service comprises eight one-bedroom apartments and five four-bedroom apartments, providing care and support to working-age adults with learning disabilities and/or autism.We’re looking for a leader who:Leads with positivity, compassion, and confidenceInspires teams to deliver outstanding, person-centred supportChampions quality, safety, and continuous improvementUnderstands the complexities of supporting individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, personality disorders, psychosis, and behaviours of concern, including self-harmTop of FormBottom of FormIn this role, you will:Support, inspire, and develop your team of support workers and team leaders to deliver outstanding care and support within this supported living flat scheme.You will oversee the delivery of high-quality care and support for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, challenging behaviours, and physical disabilities, each with their own unique and complex needs.Drive service improvements and quality standardsBuild strong relationships with your team, families, and communitiesYou’ll lead with purpose, inspire your teams, and deliver the highest standards of care while shaping the future of services.What You’ll BringA minimum Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care with Level 5 being desirable (or working towards it)Strong experience in operational and people managementA valid UK driver’s licence and willingness to travel locallyA genuine passion for quality care — and the ability to lead by exampleWe’re looking for individuals who embody empathy, courage, honesty, equality, and passion.
